Day One
Track Constituent Information
Capturing key constituent information lets you segment your database and appeal
to specific areas of constituent interest and concern within your organization.
- Learn the most effective and efficient ways to record and track valuable constituent information.
- Get familiar with the Basic, Name, Address and Relation files.
- Understand the full capabilities of each file to ensure consistent data entry.
- Become more skillful at the daily task of data entry.
- Maximize your development efforts as you discover the full potential of Sage Fundraising 50's Attribute, Resume, Note, Proposal and Contact files.
- Learn how Sage Fundraising 50's Tickler feature tracks Contact dates, next steps, and due dates for your Proposals.
Gift Entry
The Gift Entry section explains how a customized Gift Structure lets you
accurately process the many gift types that you record in Sage Fundraising 50.
Get hands-on experience processing the different gift types including:
- Pledges
- Pledge payments
- Soft credits
- Gifts in honor/memory
- Split gifts
- Matching gifts
- Gifts with benefits
Learn the tangible benefits of accurate gift entry via the Donor file, Campaign Overview, and many meaningful financial reports.
Day Two
The second day of Regional Training focuses on the processes and steps required
for effective and indispensable reports. You will receive extensive training on
queries, which is one of Sage Fundraising 50's most important and powerful features.
- Learn to use queries to select constituents in your database for reports, lists, mail merges, and much more.
- Understand how Basic and Full queries help you access the valuable information in your database.
- Learn why queries are a critical aspect of generating reports in Sage Fundraising 50.
- Learn about the different types of available reports, report set up, and report output.
- Practice developing standard and customized reports.
- Understand how to address reporting requirements specific to your organization.
- Regional Training wraps up with hands-on experience with Sage Fundraising 50's Global and Quick Features including Quick Print, Quick E-mail and Quick Merge. The Global feature allows you to make changes to many records at one time.
Regional Training Registration
This agenda is subject to change.
The training session will run 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on both days, with an hour break for lunch. A morning and afternoon snack is provided.
Cancellation Policy
- If you have scheduled Regional Training, you may not cancel or reschedule within 10 business days of the class date without incurring a penalty. The cancellation penalty will be the forfeiture of half of the Regional Training fee. If you reschedule seven business days before the Regional Training date, there will be an administrative fee of $50. Rescheduling under these circumstances requires a prepayment of the administrative fee charged to a credit card before the class may be rescheduled.
- Participants who register for a Regional Training session and who do not attend, cancel, or reschedule ("no-show") will be responsible for the full training fee.
- Training is subject to cancellation. If Sage Software cancels the session, we will reschedule you without charging the administrative fee.
- Sage Software is not liable for any travel expenses incurred due to class cancellation.
